APC製PDU(AP7900)の設定

シリアル接続で設定したんで、備忘録として残しときます。

工場出荷時のIPアドレス　　　　　　　：DHCP
　　　〃　　　のUser Name/Password：apc/apc

・1ユーザのみしかログイン出来ません(コンソール接続含む)。
・工場出荷状態でtelnet/httpアクセスが許可され、SSH/httpsは非許可。
・SNMP機能は使用電力量を喋らないから殆ど無意味。当方のMIBの読み込みが甘いだけかも･･･。
・ファームウェアのダウンロード先は以下にあります。
　http://www.apc.com/jp/s/Download/Detail_Sw.cfm?ProductNumber=AP79xxFW
・ファームウェアの更新に失敗すると電源差し込み口が全て無効になり、ただの電源タップとしてすら機能しない。
　つまり、鉄屑同然になります。(実体験より)
・失敗しても、PDU自体の電源off/on後に再トライ出来ます。(実体験より)

1.ネットワーク(IPアドレス等)の設定

[2- Network]→[1- TCP/IP]

2.電源差し込み口の有効化(例:1番)

[1- Device Manager]→[1- Phase Management]→[1- Outlet Control/Configuration]→[1- Outlet 1 ON]
→[1- Control Outlet]→[1- Immediate On]
　　　　※[1- Immediate On]は即時電源ON、[4- Delayed On]だと遅延電源ONです。
　　　　　遅延のタイミングは[2- Outlet Restriction]で設定出来ます。

3.ファームウェアの更新

.1 上記APCサイトからダウンロードしたアーカイブファイルを展開し、upgrd_util.exeをダブルクリックしてアップデートツールを起動。
.2 PDUのIPアドレス、ログインユーザ名とパスワードを入力します。
.3 “Action”の選択がありますので「1: Cntinue with upgrade」を選択(“1″を入力して[Enter]キーを押す)

AP7900のファームアップデート

　　　※64bitOSでも起動・アップデートが可能ですが、上記で展開したファイルはローカルHDDに保存/実行しないとエラーが出ます。

　　※面倒くさがってリモートでアップデートしようとしたところ、途中でファイアーウォールが通信を遮断してしまったらしく
　　　見事に失敗しました。
